They're momentum-based. It works similar to other fans in platforming; the height you get is dependent on how much vertical momentum you have when going in. If you're already in the beginning of a jump when you enter your fan, it'll boost your jump significantly, allowing you to reach higher places where the highest possible jump alone, or the highest point on the fan alone, wouldn't let you access.


TL;DR: Start your jump as you enter the fan's range to get the biggest boost.

I've been playing this game a bunch. I really like the board shuffle gimmick, but I wish the timer paused while Ame was shuffling the board, since sometimes it can shuffle a bunch of times in a row without giving me much time to do anything. Either way, I'm having a lot of fun with this game

I'm still trying to figure out how exactly I can get a fast time without getting completely obliterated lol

The only control is to click. When you click, Aqua moves forward for as long as the button is pressed. She turns to follow the track automatically, so you just need to make sure she's properly directed to where you want her to go before each turn. Too much speed and she veers off the edge.

This has the potential to be a really fun speed game with how many track skips there are ... I hope that's intentional.

My average guess time was severely crippled by wanting to listen to the song snippets longer.

Very nice game, but killed my hands spamming Z and X ... Is there a more yubi-friendly way to play this game or is there no way around that?

I really like the new Shogun helmet. It feels like it'd be fun for speedruns and is very cute on Watamelon.

The new cards are, as always, fun.

The fourth level, the Shogun introduction, is fun, but I felt very worn out after a while due to its size. It got really repetitive having to roll back and forth to the same destination repeatedly every time I died, so if it wouldn't be too troublesome, I'd suggest maybe a sort of checkpoint system for the game?

Just a way to respawn closer to whatever you were doing previously instead of having to get there from the start of the level, every time. I feel it's kind of necessary because of the scale the levels are taking on. Maybe Watamelon could respawn at whatever dock she last docked at, and the player can take things on from there. It'd help the game flow a little better in casual play, too — again, because of the aforementioned rolling to the same point repeatedly.

Other than that though, game's still solid. I noticed the buff to Watame's speed, and I adore the new boat model (even if it would never realistically work, but then again, we're talking about a rolling watamelo-sheep collecting cards and going through watamelon portals here). Keep up the good work on this little thing!

Going back to this a day later to try and 100% it -- anyone know where the last Shrimp in Level 2 could be?

Really fun game. It feels and plays almost exactly like a really well-crafted Celeste custom map. Coming from the Celeste community this means this is actually pretty standard difficulty, so I enjoyed it quite a bit. Honestly could be a neat standalone game.

Beautiful work on this game. That third level was so fun. It forced me to maximize my prior strategy like crazy, and the payoff was immense. The feeling of exiting that last bullet hell combined with the sweet ending just swelled in a grand chorus.

Thank you for the game, planet drop. I'm looking forward to see what kinds of stuff you have in store.

Soon as I saw that the third level started me out with a Ringo Juice, I knew I'd be in for a true Tetris hell ...

Just found out about the level 2 update right now. I have to say, playing this game is always so fun. I've never gotten frustrated at this game so far, and every time I've just been bopping my head to the tunes.

You can never go wrong with Suisei's music, huh.

This is looking awesome so far. Hurts my hand to play, but that's probably only because I play so aggressively. The story's funny too. I'm looking forward to this game's development.

Level 4 is kinda weirdly tough in the beginning. Don't mean anything bad by this, but the second enemy in the level so far seems impossible to pass without cheats. This is just a level design thing, so attend to it how you see fit.


Overall it's looking interesting though. I like the idea of having YAGOO as the protagonist, 草

I ended up managing to finally full combo and S Rank, but I couldn't screenshot in time ...
